Requirements:
To qualify in New Mexico, candidates must meet the following:

Bachelors degree in Education or related field

New Mexico PED-issued Special Education License (Level 13)

Background clearance through NMPED

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP writing, and state reporting standards

Prior experience with school-aged children preferred
